K2-D3 is a supplement to combines either five or ten thousand IU’s of vitamin D along with vitamin K2. Vitamin D helps to support immune system functions, bone health, musculoskeletal Health, as well as cardiovascular function. The vitamin K2 has recently been found in scientific studies to make sure that the calcium, which Vitamin D is helping to absorb, gets targeted to the bone versus getting deposited in the arteries or the kidneys where it can cause arterial congestion or a kidney stone. So we really want that calcium to go to the bone and the K2 helps to achieve that.
